WordMaestro 1.50 Description:
The all-in-one thesaurus, English dictionary, anagram solver and word finder for Windows.
The thesaurus contains over 1,800,000 related words and phrases, the dictionary over 150,000 root words. You can add you own entries to both the dictionary and the thesaurus - great for building up your own specialist reference works.
Included is a sophisticated anagram solver and generator. You can control the results as you wish, for example to only return anagrams which match a certain word length when solving crossword clues. Alternatively, give it a person's name and see what it comes up with !
The word finder will return all word or phrases which match a certain pattern, for example all words starting with 'cat' or all 9 letter words with a 'p' as the 5th letter. This is useful when looking for a word when your not sure of the spelling, or when trying to find answers to a crossword or word puzzle.
WordMaestro integrates seamlessly with other programs e.g. MS Word and Outlook, performing lookups when required without the need to switch programs.
